About White Hat Medical Herbals
White Hat Medical Herbals is rooted in both clinical training and family heritage.
The name honours my grandfather, known in his small Madeiran village as “barrete branco” the white-capped shepherd. He was remembered locally for his knowledge of medicinal plants and for the herbal remedies he gathered, prepared and used within his community. That family lineage continues to anchor and shape my work today.
I am a practicing herbalist with extensive academic and clinical training. My approach is evidence-informed, traditional, and person-centred. I take time to listen carefully, understand your health story and work collaboratively. I'll address the deeper causation of imbalances, not just the symptoms to create personalised herbal and lifestyle support that feels practical, achievable and respectful of your individual needs.
I support clients who are looking for thoughtful herbal care, whether for a specific health concern, ongoing wellbeing or rebuilding long-term resilience and vitality. My aim is to provide a space where you feel heard, respected and supported with clear guidance and carefully selected herbal preparations.
